Why SEO is not a “set it and forget it” strategy for law firms
When you work with a reputable agency like dNovo Group to optimize your law firm website, expect your traffic to...
In our practice and experience, many of our clients’ cases can be resolved before the trial process through settlement negotiations with insurance companies and adverse parties. Our goal is to bring your case to a positive resolution as quickly as possible. With this goal in mind, our team of professionals actively works to settle your case every step of the way.
Sometimes, a case cannot be resolved before trial. Trials generally take place many years after the accident or injury occurs. Trials are lengthy, expensive, and hard on everyone involved. Going to trial is a difficult choice and you will want legal advice from a law firm you can trust, like Grillo Law. You will want to meet and hear from experienced trial counsel before proceeding to trial. At Grillo Law, you will receive candid, effective counsel.
Before your case is even set down for trial, your lawyer will explore every possible option for settlement.
Mediation is an out-of-court legal process by which the parties to a claim come before a neutral mediator to discuss resolution of the issues in dispute. The mediator’s role at mediation is to facilitate the discussion between the parties. Every mediation is a little different and will be catered to your specific case. Generally, all the important people will be there like you, your Grillo Law representative, and the insurance company.
Mediation is unique opportunity to exclusively discuss the issues in a claim freely and openly. Many, many cases settle at mediation, however it isn’t necessary or mandatory in all cases.
Claims commenced in Toronto, Windsor, and Ottawa are subject to mandatory mediation before a trial can be scheduled. In other jurisdictions, the parties have to agree to mediation and are not required to participate in one before setting the matter down for a trial.
Regardless of the forum, Grillo Law will advocate on your behalf and demand fair compensation for your injuries. Read more about our practice areas.
